In a hurry? Shop my affordable fall garland here!
This affordable fall garland is one of those finds I almost hesitate to share when the price drops because I already know what happens next. Everyone discovers how good it is, the coupon disappears, and suddenly we are all staring at an unavailable listing.
At the time I am sharing this, you can get each strand for only $10 when you clip the digital coupon. That is an incredible price for a garland this full and beautiful, but I truly do not expect the deal to last.
I have used this same garland for two years now, and it is still one of my favorite pieces of fall decor. The deep burgundy leaves give my mantel a rich, seasonal look without bringing in all the bright orange and yellow tones that don’t really work with the rest of my home.
Why This Affordable Fall Garland Looks So Expensive
There is something about the darker, muted color that makes this garland feel much more elevated than typical inexpensive fall greenery. It adds warmth and drama, but it is still neutral enough to work with the artwork, brass accents, pottery, candles, and other decor I already own.
It also has a wonderfully loose and organic shape. I love letting a few pieces of the branches trail down the front and sides of the mantel rather than trying to make everything look too neat.
It is one of the easiest ways to completely change the look of a room for fall without replacing every piece of decor you already have.
How Many Fall Garland Strands I Use
My mantel is massive, so I use four strands to create the full look shown in these photos.
Four strands allow me to layer the greenery across the entire length of the mantel while still having enough fullness for the ends to drape down. For a standard-sized fireplace mantel, you may only need one or two strands. It really depends on the length of your mantel and how lush you want the finished arrangement to look.
I prefer a very full, layered look, especially because the fireplace is such a major focal point in our living room. Using multiple strands keeps the greenery from looking thin or lost against the scale of the fireplace.
How to Make Inexpensive Fall Garland Look Fuller
The biggest trick is taking a few minutes to shape each strand before placing it.
When the garland first arrives, the branches may be compressed from packaging. Gently separate the stems, bend the branches in different directions, and fluff the leaves. This makes an enormous difference.
Next, overlap the ends of the strands instead of placing them in one perfectly straight line. Layering the branches disguises the connection points and makes several strands look like one continuous garland.
I also pull a few branches forward so they hang slightly over the mantel. Those trailing pieces create movement and make the arrangement look much more natural.
Do Not Forget to Clip the Digital Coupon
The digital coupon is what brings the price down to approximately $10 per strand, so make sure it is selected before checking out. Amazon prices and coupons can change quickly, and this is absolutely the kind of deal that can disappear without warning.
Even if you are not ready to decorate for fall yet, this is a smart time to grab the pieces you know you will use. The best seasonal decor has a funny habit of selling out long before the season actually arrives.
Shop the $10 fall garland while the coupon is available
This affordable fall garland has been tried, tested, stored, fluffed, and used again in our home. It is stunning, easy to style, and one of the best fall decor deals I have seen at this price.
