In a hurry? Shop my magnetic wood trivet here.
Lately, I’ve enjoyed kitchen tools that make my life easier, and that simplify things in the kitchen—refining the tools I reach for most, and investing in pieces that are as lovely as they are hardworking. One small (but mighty) upgrade I recently made is this magnetic wood trivet, and it’s one of those tools that makes me think: “Where has this been all my life?”
After sharing it in this kitchen Reel, my DMs blew up with questions. And for good reason, it’s one of those beautifully designed products that quietly transforms the way you move through the kitchen.
So let’s break it down: Here’s what makes it so special, why it earns a permanent place in our kitchen, and where to find one for your own kitchen.
What This It Is
A stylish heat-resistant trivet that actually attaches magnetically to your cookware.
Made from solid acacia wood with heat-resistant silicone grips, this trivet is designed to protect your counters and stay put. But what really sets it apart is the magnetic base, it actually latches onto the bottom of cast iron and metal pots.
That means when you lift your pot off the stove, the trivet comes with it. One less thing to juggle, one more thing to love.
Why I Love My Magnetic Wood Trivet
Here’s why it has quickly become a go-to in our kitchen:
- It follows the pot. The magnet on the underside means it literally sticks to the pot when you move it so no more scrambling for a hot pad when you’re in the middle of dinner prep.
- It protects without the clutter. I love the simplicity of just having this one piece on hand, no clunky stack of hot pads or oversized cork trivets.
- It blends in. The warm wood tones complement our kitchen beautifully (you know I’m always thinking about form and function).
How We Use The Magnetic Wood Trivet
Everyday dinners, one-pot meals, and the occasional rustic bread bake.
We use it almost daily, whether I’m pulling our new Carote Dutch oven off the range, transferring a bubbling pan of roasted vegetables from the oven, or setting it down to cool.
I love that it works with a variety of cookware.
Here are the pans I paired it with in my reel:
- Carote Dutch Oven in Brown
- Our go to stainless steel saucepan
Final Thoughts
It’s the small upgrades that make a big difference.
This magnetic wood trivet has quickly become one of those everyday essentials that makes cooking feel easier and a little more joyful. It doesn’t scream for attention, but that’s exactly why I love it. It just works, quietly and beautifully.
If you end up bringing one into your home, I’d love to know what you think. Let me know over on Instagram or tag me when you use it!
