I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I’m a big believer in easy, essentials-only bedding layers. No mountain of pillows, no stacks of blankets that never get touched. Just a few well-chosen pieces that actually get used, and still make the room feel elevated, cozy, and pretty.

As the seasons change, I like to rotate duvet covers. This time, I swapped out my striped linen duvet for a solid color. For a bit of cozy contrast, I folded a darker blue duvet cover across the foot of the bed. It acts like a throw blanket but is also ready to swap in whenever my main duvet needs a wash.
